Tyson George Gordon

Tyson George Gordon (born January 31, 1982) is a Jamaican-born Canadian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler, currently playing international cricket for Canada. Gordon was born in Saint Mary, Jamaica.

In May 2005, Gordon played a single List A match for Jamaica against the touring South Africans. In this match, he scored 70 runs, the highest score in the Jamaican innings, before being dismissed by Shaun Pollock.

After moving to Canada, Gordon made his senior debut for the Canadian national team in the 2010 Caribbean Twenty20 against Trinidad and Tobago. He participated in the following season’s competition, playing in all of Canada’s fixtures. He was selected for Canada’s squad in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, having qualified to play international cricket just days before the tournament.
